  • I'm really excited today, two of the earliest members on the movement just released a collaborative single that's available on all platforms. Both of them are working really hard at the moment to push their own catalog, so i'm just stunned how they managed to pull this off. I got really surprised when @mecca83 hit me up and explained that they were finished, and finally it's here! By now, you should be familiar with their style when they produce, @monmabeats got that classic bounce & warm vibe and Mecca:83 is always onto some next level stuff blending references from both Hip-Hop and Jazz but still manages to make the beats sound very up to date. Last time, when we had the opportunity to hear them work together was during 2017 under the 'Life Sketches Volume. 03' project that was released under the catalog and it's starting to become a classic for me personally i'd say. Here's what Mecca:83 had to say about the collaboration: 'I’ve been a fan on the man since he was going by the name MNSTRMKK on Soundcloud - his sound has been full of soul since day one. I originally reached out him for a track back when we were doing the Expansions Collective single series in 2015 (we released a track by him called “Wutai Bounce”). We’ve been trading ideas, loops and sketches ever since, but we never quite finished anything...which is a common theme for me if I’m honest! With that in mind, I’m hyped to share this one with you guys. Who knows, if you like it we might finish some more joints! Much love.' Thank you to @spotifyforartists for the adding of the track.   • The video from our visit in Berlin 🇩🇪 is now live on our YouTube channel. The members in this trip were @gustav_gustav_gustav_ @odyssee_lc and @klimbeats - Thank you for the support you’ve all been showing towards the movement during the year. Berlin was such a nice city and all the people were super friendly we met up with. A special shoutout to @krekpekrecords & @figubbrazlevic for dropping by during the last day we had there. I’m already planning new trips for the members to meet up and produce new tracks in. It’s really inspiring to see people from around the world give each other inspiration and new techniques to work with.   • Welcome to Boombek everyone! The perfect album for your warm summer! It will be such a refreshing piece of music for you to play while on the beach or maybe just walking around in the city! It contains 11 full tracks including the last song which is a remix from Julian Convex. I'm so happy to be sharing this collaboration with Ben Bada Boom - I told him in the start of this project that he shouldn't be afraid of taking any risks, and experiment a bit more. @ben.bada.boom is a beat maker and designer who is located in Hamburg, Germany. 3B´s sounds come from various influences such as Electronic, Funk and Soul. He takes those influences and then turns them into something new. With a result clearly linked to hip hop and broken beat. Current, but difficult to classify genre wise. His compositions are characterized by an occasional glimpse of 8-Bit, some 80's synth work and Celtic tunes. With something of a stray jazz trumpet defends dirty points.

The project is titled 'Rituals' and he told me he wanted to have a pretty dark & ambient atmosphere in this release - flirting with both classic styles but also deep feelings. You can clearly hear that he's influenced by the golden era in both snares & bass line.
